Who Are We

The Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care (CEBHCI) is a vibrant non-profit organisation made up of experienced academic, researchers, scientists, policy makers and clinical practitioners.

CEBHCI is registered as a non-governmental organisation in Malawi with a vision of expanding across Africa and the wider world.

Our Objectives

The objectives of the CEBHCI are to conduct research and provide training on evidence synthesis, dissemination, and innovation. The Centre aims to investigate the effectiveness of a full range of interventions, from practical site management to national and international policy.
The main goal of the centre is supporting decision making in health care using the health in all policy strategy with the aim of improving healthcare practices for the benefit of patients and practitioners in Malawi, Africa and all over the world.

CEBHCI is funded by donations and grants and welcomes support to foster its aims and objectives. CEBHCI has partnered with number of partners including the following:

  • The Ministry of Health in Malawi to support research and development of research capability,
  • National Commission for Science and Technology to drive government agenda for research,
